How to register for RTGS?

STEP 1: Visit Your Bank: Go to your bank's nearest branch or log in to their online banking portal.

STEP 2: Obtain the RTGS Form: Collect the RTGS application form from the branch or download it from the bank's official website.

STEP 3: Fill Out the Form: Provide all the necessary details, such as: Your name and account number, Beneficiary name, account number, and bank details, IFSC code of the beneficiary's bank.

STEP 4: Attach Supporting Documents: Attach required documents like a copy of your ID proof, address proof, and a cheque (if instructed by the bank).

STEP 5: Submit the Application: Submit the completed form along with the documents at your bank branch or upload them via the online portal if applicable.

STEP 6: Verify Beneficiary Details: If registering through online banking, verify the beneficiary details before submitting.

STEP 7: Confirm Registration: The bank will process your request and notify you once the RTGS service is enabled for your account.

STEP 8: Conduct a Test Transaction: After registration, perform a small transaction to ensure the service is active and the beneficiary is correctly added.
