This feature enables a user to send money using Virtual Payment Address (VPA) or combination of Account Number and IFSC or even by scanning QR code.
This feature enables a user to initiate a collect request by entering Virtual Payment Address (VPA). Also, it is mandatory that the customers mobile number is linked with the bank account.
Customers can pay by scanning the QR code through 'Scan & Pay' and generate QR codes in the app for making payments.
This option allows a user to check transaction history. It also highlights pending UPI collect requests (if any) so that a user can approve or reject the payment requests. There is a report issue tab if a customer is willing to raise any complaint pertaining to transactions.
Profile option helps the user to view the static QR code and Payment addresses created. The QR code is downloadable and could be shared through various messenger applications like WhatsApp, Email etc.
Using this Option, a customer can check the bank account which is linked with the BHIM DNS PAY App along with PIN status.
Unified Payment Interface (UPI) enables all bank account holders to send and receive money from their smartphones without entering bank account information or net banking user id/ password.
UPI can be used to send and receive money from individuals or to pay directly to merchants.
Users can instantly download a UPI app such as DNS Pay and create their UPI ID to start using UPI.
For using UPI, users need to create a UPI ID of their choice and link it to any bank account. The UPI ID acts as their financial address, and users need not remember the beneficiary account numbers, IFSC codes or net banking user id/password for sending or receiving money.
Without ATM (Debit Card) customers cannot add account for UPI transactions.
